for all the girls out there

I have found that many girls have been getting pregnant in high school! I think it’s sad because when you're young and you’re looking forward to college you shouldn't have to deal with being a mom. When you get pregnant in high school it becomes harder to learn and you have to get a job, some girls even drop out of high school. I think if you wait to have a kid until you are out of high school you will be better off and you will have more of an idea of what you want to do with your life. These girls should at least be using protection. Its not fair to the babies either because when they get older they are going to think they can have babies at a young age. Most teenage girls don't know how to raise a baby. Its hard to have kid when you are an adult.

After School Plans

I want to go to college in Miami FL. or somewhere where its hot. I have a couple of things in mind and they are: Physical therapist, OBGyn, teacher, singer, modeling, something working with little kids, chef, a coach, or a doctor.

Personality Test

i took a test on my personality and it was ok to take. The test came out good and it was fun to take it. At first I made a big deal about it because I thought it was stupid to do.  I thought I already knew my personality and I said I wasn't going to do it. In the end I did though and I read all of the questions and answered them...there were 70. When it was done I was happy that I did it!  :)

school

Hi i'm Vanna, and I go to Sanford High School. School is very fun at some points. I do hip hop club after school and art club too. They are fun and I would love to teach little kids how to do it! I would like to start my own hip hop club after school for children so that way they will know how to do it and then when they get older they can teach other little kids to do it.

For all the little kids out there, my advice is to enjoy school while you can because when its gone its gone and you can't go back and fix anything...but you will have all the memories of school. Try to do sports and clubs after school so that way its fun. And while you are at school or at clubs, sports, try to make new friends.

I have some hard times in school too and the hardest thing for me is to keep my grades up. The other thing I have a hard time with is understanding work, And watching the other kids that are in my classes because they can go faster then me although some of them do go slower then me. But the one big thing I have to do to keep my grades up is to pass in my work in time, and just do the work in class with out saying no!

what justin beiber is to me

I think that justin bieber is a nice looling kid, good kid too. he can make people mad but he will fix it and make it better. He is a good singer, good to his, fans, family, firends, and he loves what he does. I think that he should keep on doing the stuff he does and Justin should never give up on anything at all. Keep on doing what you love to do and also be safe and be you. Justin is definitely not a bad kid at all, some times girls make him cry. justin is a kind of kid that is clam and if some one trying to haert him he will tell some one!!!

Tolitha's Letter to the Wingos

Dear Henry, Lila and family,

I am in Cambodia now. I traveled across the South China Sea on a boat―really more of a clunker by South Carolina standards. But I arrived safe and sound although I am just getting over a bad case of diarrhea. I think it might have something to do with eating some poisonous blowfish. Lord did my fingers go numb after eating that tasty meat.

I am staying at the Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh. The hotel is big, clean, very nice and run by very nice people. These Cambodians don't look much different than the folks in Singapore or Vietnam. They work hard. I get around Phnom Penh in what they call tuk-tuks. They are little covered wagons that are attached to motorbikes. The streets are very crowded here with tuk-tuks, people walking and running, motorbikes, horses, and some cars.

I went to Angkor and saw a big temple called Angkor Wat. The building has big, cone shaped, tall peaks. It was created for funerals way back in 1113 by King Suryavaman II. There are ruins of about 100 temples but there used to be over 1000 there. The jungle is growing over some of the buildings in big gnarly roots. I am sending you pictures of that.

Cambodia rice fields are a big part of this country. They remind me of the marshes back home. They take big water buffalos to work the rice paddies. I am sending pictures of a young Cambodian with his water buffalos.

Rubber plantations are another big thing here. The rows of trees go forever. They are skinny trees that grow straight and tall with no fancy branches.

I sense some trouble brewing up over here. There are soldiers and tanks and guns on the streets over here. I wonder why they are here and what there is to fight about?

I am thinking of you all and sending love,

Tolitha

Living with 4 Boys

Living with 4 boys can be very hectic for me and my mom around the house. One thing that bugs me is that they smell after playing sports. Then, they try to hug you and that makes it worse! When I tell them to stop they just keep on doing it. But boys can be good to have arould you sometimes. They are good for when you need someone to stick up for you. They are good at sports too...but they wrongly think that they better then girls at sports. Boys need to know that girls can beat them in stuff too and they can kick their butts if we need to. The one thing that I don't like is when boys hit girls. My brothers hit me, but just playfully. My brothers really do like me, even if they pretend they don't. And I like them too, even though sometimes they smell bad.
